I am an unrequited entertainer. Since about eighth grade I've been a singer. I probably would have loved to have starred on Broadway in stage musicals.

Monsoon Sky

This is when we hope the sky will open and give us a few very drops of rain. Some parts of the valley have had 4 to 5 inches of the wet stuff. Here on the west side of the valley we are pretty parched . So far here at our abode we have only seen an inch and a quarter. There are some clouds to the east of us and may be able to work their way over the top of us. The thunderheads
your seeing here were topping 60,000 ft. In reality they are more than 40 miles away. I'm currently keeping an eye on the radar of my "Weatherbug" web site. It is a pretty neat place to go to in order to know where the rain may fall.

Our weather in Western Kentucky is very wet and steamy. Gardens thrive in this type of weather without pulling the hose over to water. We have been without rain for a least three days. I think they say thunder showers Friday thru Sunday with the temperature rising into the 90's.
Normally this time of year the grass turns a light brown but this year because of the good weather it is still green.

Today the valley got a gully washer in some parts. here at our humble abode it didn't dump but give us about a quarter inch of nice wet stuff. In the ritzy Scottsdale where they have everything they got the gully washers, about two inches of flash flood creation. Did you know that Az. has passed a stupid motorist law? If you go around a barricaded road and get stuck in a flash flood stream, they will fine you $2,000.00 plus the cost of your rescue!!!!
